40 Years Since the Death of Che Guevara
Tomorrow, Tuesday 9th October, marks the 40th anniversary of the death of Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara.
The revolutionary, Che was a key figure in Castro’s takeover of Cuba in the 1950s and the subsequent trial and execution of many hundreds of ‘war criminals’. Guevara made the extraordinary change from being an asthmatic medical student to being an expert on guerrilla warfare and revolution.
However, the majority of people only heard of Che Guevara on t-shirts worn by students, or by watching “The Motorcycle Diaries”.

I like the facebook group “Che Guevara was a murderer and your T-shirt is not cool”. Whatever your politics, freedom fighters should stick to rebellion. That is, targeting military installations and the organs of government. Murdering civilians and utilising summary execution is defined as terrorism.
Ernesto is my wish & love
VIVA Ernesto………VIVA
If you want to make an omelette you have to crack some eggs. No one is perfect. So he murdered people that where against him. I do believe he had to, that’s what warfare is… Look at Bush, would you consider him a terrorist? …morons… find something else to bitch about
Che Guevara is my Hero and a person to follow. Those students who have Che’s face in a shirt or watch the movie dont give a crap about him and his life, they dont even know where Australia is in a map. I dont need those guys learning something they will not understand. Is enough with the ppl who knows because they are the ones who deserves to know. Viva la revolucion! muerte a Estados Unidos y su mente imperialista!
Thanks to “che”, we venezuelans have discoverered, misery and narrow mind thinking, but also hope by discovering the void message camed from this mass murderer, will not prevail.
The foolishness of being Young is cured by the past of time.
We venezuelans are struggling to be free again.
