The World’s Greatest Blog

I discovered the photographs of this strange and incredible incident today (don’t ask me how, but I ended up here) and I knew immediately that this story is something that the world at large needed to hear about.

Moreover, these two photographs are truly amazing, once in a lifetime images, that I just know we will all want to share with our friends, if only just to say, “how extraordinary”.

Apparently, this bird had flown into the glass window on the porch of a house in Yorkshire, UK, and somehow got its beak stuck in the glass. The pictures below are the result.

It would appear as though this unfortunate bird did not get freed in time, however, which is a huge shame. The witness who found the helpless animal reported:

These photos are 100% genuine – some bird flew into my neighbour’s porch window and got its beak jammed! It had tried unsuccessfully to free itself.

We only noticed it because there was a cat mewling like crazy under the window.

I removed it from the window and gave it to the cat.
