Another Pound received!
On Monday I went to Newcastle to say goodbye to a few people.
Whilst there I received another generous donation from a pair of people called Chris and Harry, whose team effort saw my total amount received double within a few days!
We were standing chatting, Harry spotted a pound on the floor and mentioned it to Chris who quickly grabbed it. I saw this and happened to mention the rather low uptake on my website and he handed it straight to me. Top work.
Although the pound was later spent in the players lounge, it was gratefully received. Chris and Harry are both in their fourth year of university education and surely have their own budget and cash-flow problems as a result. Such selflessnes is to be encouraged. A fine display from two fine upstanding young men who I’m sure will go far in this world and achieve great things.
