Basshunter - New Version of Dota: All I Ever Wanted
The original Swedish language song has been replaced by a new English version. The original song was about playing Defence of the Ancients. It has been replaced by a song with new lyrics that don’t quite fit the music:

Whoever put two syllables in “to”? I think they must have kidnapped the songwriter from the Vengaboys and given him a new job. You have to give Basshunter credit for making it rhyme but I’m afraid his curtain hairstyle no longer looks cool in a normal club. And I also miss the little bits in between that “I hear you man” and “Don’t worry, be happy”. Bring back the Swedish version I say. What do you think:

Personally, I think all i ever wanted has completely killed the original. No one will hear about DotA until the basshunter album, but even then they wont appreciate it. They will have been brainwashed into thinking all i ever wanted was the true, original and better song. Basshunter needs to stop re-doing his old songs in english and start making some good quality swedish ones. Bring back the old bassunter!!!

I actually happen to agree with you - I was disappointed when I heard Dota slightly ruined (by the English changes) on the radio the other day - which kicked off a spiral of events that eventually culminated in the above post, as I forced people to compare the two, and Linda decided to check public opinion on my very personal gripe.
However, from our unscientific poll of 4 people, it would seem opinion is divided 50-50… Get voting! Get your friends voting too.
