England beat France 24-13 - RBS Six Nations Rugby Union

England have this evening completed a 24-13 victory over France in Paris to prove that last year’s Rugby Union World Cup Quarter Final was no fluke, and re-alight their RBS Six Nations campaign after a hugely disappointing opening defeat to Wales.

Tries from Paul Sackey and Richard Wigglesworth along with Jonny Wilkinson’s 14 point haul from the boot (1 drop goal, 1 conversion and 3 penalties) more than covered France’s 2 penalties and a converted try.

This result opens up this year’s RBS Six Nations and makes the final two weeks extremely interesting - there’s 4 teams in the running, England (4 points), Wales (6 points), France (4 points), and Ireland (4 points) are all well and truly near enough if good enough.

The Ireland v Wales, Wales v France and England v Ireland games are going to be huge this year - with the latter two games taking place on the final match day of the tournament - Saturday 15 March. Book your seats now, and take Sunday off.
