With Easter Sunday falling particularly early, snow has fallen on Easter Sunday. Easter always falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox -which is March 21st. There won’t be another Easter this early for about a hundred and fifty years. The date was set by monks in Whitby who had met to sort out the discrepancy between Celtic Catholicism and Roman Catholicism.
