Following an article in The Register about the backdating of the new point-based immigration system, I have found the best comparison I could of Liam Byrne, the minister for immigration, and Herr Flick, the Nazi investigator out of Allo Allo.

However, since I have been writing about the new Indiana Jones film today, I personally think there’s a more uncanny comparison with Arnold Toht - the evil Nazi in Raiders of the Lost Ark - who folds coat hangers in menacing ways.
