Now that we’ve expanded our online shopping channels to an incredible size (though there’s still a lot more on its way VERY soon!) we are beginning to see some fascinating trends with regards what products are really hot in the online shopping world.

I’m going to tell you about them here, so that we can all share in the joy of knowing precisely what people are looking at quite a lot these days.

Here goes, in order of greatness, according the the general public of the wide world:

1. Ditsy Floral Tea Dress - the tea dress, as I reported last week, is set to be the fashion statement of the year in 2008. I don’t know much about fashion, but our crack team of fashionista’s have tipped tea dresses for the very top. On a similar note, we’ve had a lot of requests for:
2. Boutique Dresses - for a very similar reason - people are searching for “50s style dresses” on their favoured search engine and landing here.
3. Rado Sintra ceramic two-colour bracelet diamond watch - this watch has had an awful lot of attention in the past couple of days. I can only assume its been mentioned by some kind of ‘expert’- it is a lovely watch!
4. Dyson DC 25 Animal - Old Dyson does know how to make an effective and quite beautiful vacuum cleaner. This one is particularly highly recommended.
5. Guise Brown Men’s Leather Jacket - we got our resident men’s fashion pro, Charlie, to have a look through our entire menswear range. He thought this Guise leather jacket was up there with the best we have at present. As a result, lots of people have been checking it out.
6. Omega Seamaster Professional 300m Men’s Automatic Watch - another beautiful time-piece which would look well on any man’s arm is at number 6 as a lot of people have enjoyed browsing at this one (it is actually the most viewed pic!).
7. Men’s Titanium Two Tone Spinner Ring - a friend of mine used to wind me up constantly spinning a spinner ring. This one is a bit better than his tatty one (we were at sixth form at the time!) and isn’t too expensive. Its been popular with the Googlers.
8. La Rocka Top Hat Men’s T Shirt - La Rocka t-shirts are officially cool. Here is a top hatted version.
9. Avril Lavigne Tickets @ Manchester Evening News Arena - Avril Lavigne plays at Manchester on 29 May 2008. Loads of people have been trying to get hold of those hot tickets - top tickets for this week!
10. Philips HR1364 Mixer - this seemingly ordinary kitchen tool is certainly proving popular this week - its one of those hand-held mixer jobbies that used to be so useful when I worked in a restaurant kitchen, and now I use one of the very same at home for whizzing up soup!

A lovely mix of products that people are desperately interested in right now. I’ll try to make this a regular feature, so you can keep your “shopping barometers” tuned in, and know whether you yourselves are “hot or not” judging purely by how many of the hottest products you have. Materialistic? Never.
