Join the Dalesman’s Club
The Dalesman’s Club, is a wonderful place which exists in Wensleydale, North Yorkshire, UK, in a town near where I grew up. It is a social club, complete with snooker tables, cheap drinks, jackpot machines and a large screen beaming out Sky Sports.
Being, as I am, in Australia, I can’t get there. And also, being, as I am, air-tight where money is concerned, I never actually joined the club due to the nominal fee involved.
So, I thought I’d make one online.
There’s no snooker. No pool. No fruit machine or bar. You can’t watch any sport. But you can chat to other dalesmen about farming. And it’s free to join.
