LEGO - Star Wars Clone Wars
I have just been looking through a recent post on the new LEGO Star Wars Clone Wars collection, which has tipped to be one of the most popular gifts given this Christmas by a large number of people. I found out a few interesting things:
- Approximately one LEGO set is sold every SIX SECONDS!
- The Millenium Falcon set (from the Ultimate Collectors Edition) costs £349 and has 5195 pieces;
- LEGO can be purchaed from a mind boggling number of countries from the LEGO website.
I used to love LEGO and looking through that range makes me wonder if I still have the time, never mind the patience, to actually construct a full set. Come to think of it, I’m not sure I ever did, instead bastardising fire engines with other bits from our giant box of LEGO in order to make some large vehicle or other with different sized wheels.
