Madcon - Beggin
I heard this Madcon song, Beggin, only a few days ago after BBC radio 1Extra started playing it every other track or so.
As with most music these days, it appears the track has been doing the rounds on the internet for some time now - Madcon Beggin has been played over 4 million times on YouTube alone!
Beggin‘ is reminiscent of the Gnarls Barkly vibe which has been around for a while now and shows no signs of going anywhere soon.
A hip-hop outfit from Norway? Whatever next…

I’m not sure that it’s been out on the internet for that long, the popularity of the song is probably due to the fact that it was relesed here in Scandinavia during the end of December 2007
The “Official Video” has been on YouTube since November 22, 2007 -this probably coincided with the Scandinavian launch - have a look here . That video has been viewed 4,285,233 times at the last count. Hence my comments. Thanks for the info though - I had not realised the song had launched in Scandinavia quite so long ago!
