North Queensland
This is just a quick post to say where we are. Internet is again costing money, so I’m not writing much.
This last couple of weeks we’ve travelled North about 1,300 KMs, have crossed the Tropic of Capricorn, have visited a few islands, gone snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef and seen a platypus.
We’ve also done some other stuff and visited a few interesting places.
I drovwe about 300 Ks on sand at Fraser Island and only managed to get the Pajero stuck about 3 times (in a bit where the big 4X4s were stuck) - have got pictures and videos which I’m sure we’ll put up in time…
In summary, we’ve seen and done a lot in a short space of time. We’re currently in Airlie Beach where the Whitsunday Islands tours depart, however, we’re not taking any and are going North again this afternoon to the originally named Townsville. We’re still alive, but are taking on a fairly brown complexion.

Cheers, and googled all the places you mentioned and today too, saw Townsville and Cairns and the islands etc etc… Long way up the Rhino’s Ear aren’t you!
