Rob Scott - Persistent Facebook Group Creator

Don’t worry, I haven’t started writing about myself in the third person like Rio “it shouldn’t happen to Rio Ferdinand” Ferdinand and Audley “Audley Harrison is ready” Harrison.

I have, however, been creating more and more groups on Facebook. I’ve created all kinds of great groups on Facebook, too numerous to list on here. Just seek them out.

The point of this post is because a lot of people have been coming onto this site as a result of those Facebook groups - I’ll tell you what is on here:

  1. Some general ramblings by me and, less frequently, Linda. Think of it as the grumpy ramblings of an unsettled person, or a travelogue. It’s up to you. Essentially, it will either bore you, or make you very very angry.
  2. Stories from our various travels around Australia and the world. When I have the time (so almost always) these stories also contain pictures.
  3. Some general web search and webmaster crap that you probably won’t want to read - unless you are familiar with the term “Googlebot” or “Web 2.0″. Both terms are spoken only by “nerds” and “geeks” but unfortunately, due to the nature of running internet businesses and such like, I have had to mention them occasionally.
  4. A few jokes and funny stories, cartoons, videos and shit like that. I’m trying really hard to put more funny stuff on, because, quite frankly, it is more entertaining.
  5. Me arguing with people.
  6. The main site. Currently being updated, www.24hourtrading.co.uk shall no longer be the ironic and iconic online begging bowl. Rather, it shall become an extravaganza of all that is considerably more excellent. Expect animations, games, jokes, funny videos, pointless bits of useless pop nostalgia and all the other bits and pieces that the facebook groups hint at. If you like inane references to popular stuff, you’ll probably like the new look site. I say expect all that, but don’t expect it too soon. I’m busy wasting my time on Facebook.

All the best, and remember, the best way to spend half an hour is to invite all of your friends to join groups on Facebook, remembering, of course, to write a really really really really long letter of explanation to go along with your request.

I hope that has cleared everything up.
