We drove straight to Noosa Heads after picking Anna up from the backpacker’s hostel. In the evening we visited the YHA for drinks. The YHA in Noosa Heads has a pleasant balcony, a piano in the living room, a bar and comfortable sofas for those who venture out of their dorms. It is also only 200 metres from the start of the various national park walks. On the walk to Hell’s Gates it is possible to spot dolphins, koalas and sometimes humpback whales.
