I thought it was pretty funny, even if the March madness thing is a reference (I think) to American sports…

Reminds me of one of the crappy lecturer jokes that I got from all the politics guys at university:

“What’s the weather like in Iraq? Well, it’s sunni in the North, but its shiite in the South!”

Oh, how we laughed.

    By the way, apparently some parts of “Iraqi society can be described as being in a state of civil war” according to the American party line…

    So, not just an “insurgency” then?

    I wonder if the first story is ever true on this issue.
