Vodafone Push Back Blackberry Storm UK Release
Having originally supplied a date of 22 October 2008 for the much anticipated UK release of the Blackberry Storm handset - dubbed as major competition for the iPhone - Vodafone have given a new date of 7 November for this handset.

Vodafone released this press release on their website on October 8, note the bit I’ve emboldened and underlined:
Vodafone Group today announces the launch of the BlackBerry® Storm™ smartphone from Research In Motion (RIM). The BlackBerry Storm is the first ever ‘clickable’ touch screen smartphone and will be available exclusively on Vodafone’s high speed 3G mobile broadband network in Europe, India, Australia and New Zealand from next month. Also, the BlackBerry Storm will be available exclusively from Verizon Wireless in the US.
The above shows that release is (and always has been) intended for November 2008. We’ll stick with the UK Blackberry Storm Release Date advised then!
As yet, we’ve had no indication of price plans, but when we do, we’ll let you know.
