We are pleased to announce the launch of the Street Talent Productions website, to which we are providing free hosting and support.

This website has taken some time to come to fruition, and there is much development still to do by volunteers in the UK in order to achieve the aim of helping Street Talent Productions to promote talented artists from the streets of Freetown, Sierra Leone.

I was first introduced to the music of ‘ Paps’ and his project at Street Talent Productions when attending the memorial service for our good friend Ed Sawyer who died in Sierra Leone in 2007. While in Freetown, Ed had met Paps and helped him, as executive producer, to put out an album – some of which, it is hoped, shall be featured on the new Street Talent Productions site.

Access to the internet is limited in Sierra Leone to say the least, and Paps has a huge job to achieve his aim of helping talented artists from the streets to achieve success in their art. That’s where we were happy to be able to help: hosting the new website on our machines and lending a tiny amount of time to assist with web development means that Paps may now send items via email to us to upload to the site in future, which will hopefully spread the word about his plans.
